- How to contact us
1. Who we are
This website, airfare-tickets.com, and the telephone booking service reached at (866) 886-4675, are operated by BookCheapNFly LLC, doing business as Airfare Tickets ("we", "us", "our"). Our business address is 329 South Oyster Bay Road #2199, Plainview, NY 11803, United States. BookCheapNFly LLC is the entity responsible for personal information collected through this website and through our phone lines.
We are an independent travel agency and airline ticket consolidator. We are not an airline and are not affiliated with any airline.
2. Scope of this policy
This policy applies to personal information we collect when you visit this website, submit a form here, call our booking line, exchange text messages or emails with us, or make a booking through us. It does not apply to the privacy practices of airlines, payment processors, or any other third party whose own policies govern their handling of your information.
3. Information we collect
3.1 Information you give us directly
- Contact details — name, telephone number, email address, and postal address.
- Traveler details — full legal name as shown on travel documents, date of birth, gender where an airline requires it, and for international travel, passport number, nationality, issuing country and expiry date.
- Trip details — origin and destination, travel dates, number of passengers, cabin preference, seating and baggage preferences, frequent flyer numbers, and any special assistance requirements you tell us about.
- Payment information — the card or payment details you provide to authorize a booking, together with the billing address associated with that method.
- Correspondence — the content of emails, form submissions, text messages and call notes.
3.2 Information collected automatically
- Device and connection data — IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, screen size, and language settings.
- Usage data — pages viewed, time on page, referring website or advertisement, search terms that brought you here, links and buttons clicked, and whether you clicked a call button.
- Call routing data — where a call tracking service is in use, the telephone number displayed to you, the number you dialed from, call duration, time of call, and the traffic source associated with your visit.
3.3 Information from third parties
- Advertising and analytics partners may tell us which campaign, keyword or placement brought you to this site.
- Airlines and global distribution systems may return booking status, ticket numbers, schedule changes and fare rule information relating to your reservation.
- Payment processors and fraud prevention services may provide authorization results and risk indicators.
3.4 Sensitive information
We do not seek sensitive personal information. If you voluntarily tell an agent about a medical condition, disability, mobility need, or dietary requirement so that we can request appropriate assistance from an airline, we use that information only for that purpose and share it only with the carrier and airport service providers who need it to deliver the assistance.
4. Phone calls and call recording
Calls to and from our booking line may be monitored and recorded for quality assurance, agent training, dispute resolution, verification of purchase authorization, and compliance with applicable law. You are notified of recording at the start of the call. If you do not wish to be recorded, tell the agent and they will explain the alternatives available to you, though certain transactions requiring verbal authorization may not be able to proceed without a recording.
Recordings are stored securely, access is limited to staff with a business need, and recordings are retained in line with section 10 below.
5. Text messages and marketing consent
If you check the consent box on a form, or verbally agree on a call, you consent to receive telephone calls and text messages from us at the number you provided, including calls and messages placed using automated telephone dialing systems or prerecorded voice, concerning your travel request or booking.
Consent is not a condition of purchase. You can book with us without agreeing to marketing contact. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies.
To stop text messages, reply STOP to any message from us. Reply HELP for assistance. To stop marketing calls or emails, see section 13 below. Opting out of marketing does not stop transactional messages about a booking you have already made — for example a schedule change notification — which we may still need to send you.
6. How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- search fares, quote prices, and answer your questions;
- issue tickets and transmit the required passenger data to the operating airline;
- process payment and verify authorization for the amount you agreed to;
- send confirmations, e-tickets, itinerary updates, and schedule change notifications;
- handle changes, cancellations, refunds and post-booking support;
- respond to enquiries and provide customer service;
- detect, investigate and prevent fraud, chargeback abuse, and misuse of our services;
- measure how our website and advertising perform, and improve both;
- send marketing communications where you have consented, and only until you opt out;
- comply with legal, tax, accounting and regulatory obligations, and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
7. Cookies and tracking technologies
We and our partners use cookies, pixels, tags and similar technologies on this website. We use them for the following purposes:
- Strictly necessary — to make the site function, to remember form entries during a session, and to protect against abuse. These cannot be switched off through our site.
- Analytics — to understand which pages are viewed, how visitors move through the site, and which pages lead to a call. We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager for this purpose.
- Advertising and attribution — to measure which advertisements and traffic sources produce enquiries, and to avoid paying for traffic that does not convert. This may include call tracking technology that displays a specific telephone number to a specific visitor so that a resulting call can be attributed to its source.
You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of this site from working. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites using the browser add-on Google publishes for that purpose.
Some browsers transmit a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no industry-agreed standard for responding to that signal, and we do not currently respond to it. Where required by state law, we treat a recognized opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control, as a valid request to opt out of sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising.
8. How we share information
We share personal information only as described here:
- Airlines, consolidators and global distribution systems — to search availability, issue tickets, and manage your reservation. This transfer is unavoidable; a ticket cannot be issued without it. The carrier's own privacy policy governs its use of that data.
- Payment processors and card networks — to authorize and settle payment and to process refunds and chargebacks.
- Service providers — website hosting, email delivery, telephony and call recording, customer relationship management, analytics, and fraud prevention. These providers act on our instructions and are contractually restricted from using your information for their own purposes.
- Professional advisers — lawyers, accountants and auditors, where reasonably necessary.
- Legal and safety — where required by law, subpoena, court order, or lawful request from a government or regulatory authority, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of any person, or to investigate suspected fraud.
- Business transfer — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization or sale of assets, in which case any acquirer will be bound to honor this policy for information transferred.
9. We do not sell your personal information
We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not disclose personal information to third parties for those parties' own independent marketing purposes. In the twelve months preceding the effective date of this policy, we have not sold personal information as that term is defined under California law, and we have not knowingly sold or shared the personal information of any consumer under 16 years of age.
Certain uses of advertising cookies described in section 7 may be treated as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under some state laws. You may opt out of that sharing using the methods in section 12.
10. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, and then for as long as required for legal, tax, accounting and dispute resolution purposes. In practice:
- Booking and transaction records — generally retained for seven years from the date of travel, to satisfy tax, accounting and chargeback requirements.
- Call recordings — generally retained for twenty-four months, and longer where a specific recording is subject to an active dispute, claim, or legal hold.
- Enquiries that did not result in a booking — generally retained for twenty-four months.
- Marketing contact records — retained until you opt out, plus a permanent suppression record so that we do not contact you again in error.
- Website analytics data — retained in line with the retention settings of the analytics provider, typically fourteen months.
Payment card numbers are not stored on our systems after a transaction is completed.
11. How we protect information
We maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. These include encryption of data in transit using TLS, access controls limiting staff access to what their role requires, restricted access to call recordings, and vendor due diligence.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send full payment card numbers, passport scans, or other sensitive documents by unencrypted email. If we need such information, an agent will tell you the secure way to provide it.
12. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding personal information we hold about you:
- Right to know or access — to request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties to whom it was disclosed.
- Right to correct — to request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Right to delete — to request deletion, subject to exceptions where we must retain information to complete a transaction, comply with law, or exercise or defend legal claims.
- Right to opt out — of sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and of certain profiling.
- Right to limit — use of sensitive personal information to what is necessary to provide the service.
- Right to portability — to receive a copy in a portable format where technically feasible.
- Right against discrimination — we will not deny service, charge a different price, or provide a different quality of service because you exercised a privacy right.
These rights are provided under laws including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, and comparable statutes in Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon and other states. The rights available to you depend on your state of residence.
To exercise a right, email support@airfare-tickets.com with the subject line "Privacy Request", or call (866) 886-4675. We will verify your identity before acting, which normally means matching the details you provide against a booking or enquiry in our records. We respond within 45 days, and may extend once by a further 45 days where reasonably necessary, in which case we will tell you.
You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We will require written proof of authorization and may require you to verify your own identity directly.
If we decline a request, we will tell you why. Where your state provides an appeal process, you may appeal by replying to our decision with the word "Appeal" and the reason, and we will respond within the period your state's law requires.
13. Do Not Call and SMS opt-out
You can stop marketing contact from us at any time and at no cost:
- Text messages — reply STOP to any text from us.
- Marketing calls — tell any agent that you wish to be placed on our internal Do Not Call list, or email support@airfare-tickets.com with the subject "Do Not Call" and the number to suppress. We honor the request within a reasonable time and in any event within thirty days, and we maintain the suppression indefinitely.
- Marketing emails — use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or email us with the subject "Unsubscribe".
We maintain an internal Do Not Call list and honor the National Do Not Call Registry as required by law. After you opt out, we may still contact you about an existing booking — for example to notify you of a schedule change or a cancellation by the airline — because those messages are transactional rather than marketing.
14. Children's privacy
This website and our services are directed to adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. Where a booking includes a minor traveling with an adult, we collect that minor's details from the booking adult solely to issue the ticket. If you believe a child has provided us information directly, contact us and we will delete it.
15. Third-party websites
This site may link to airline websites, payment pages and other third-party resources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Read their policies before providing information to them.
16. Visitors outside the United States
We operate in the United States and our services are intended for travelers booking from the United States. If you access this site from elsewhere, understand that your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, where data protection law may differ from that of your own country.
17. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If the changes are material, we will provide a more prominent notice. Continued use of our services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
